We asked Alex and Paige to be her godparents, so they flew up for the weekend with their lovely children and Ben came into town, too. It was the first time we have all been together at home for quite some time and it was truly a weekend full of great joy!
The baptism was beautiful--as every liturgy by Fr. Ysrael--and Clara was perfect. We had a huge party at our house afterward with lots of friends in addition to my family. The food was good, the mimosas were great and the company was the best. We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate this joyous occasion.
Baptisms are always beautiful--a new life receiving new life in Christ--but even more so when they are the baptism of our own beautiful little girl. We are so blessed to have our faith and so blessed to bring little Clara into it. God bless her always.
